All 25 cellar doors in and around the village, with opening hours for every day of the week, booking notes, and how far each one is from the Square.
Martinborough has 25 cellar doors, and most of them sit within a couple of kilometres of the village square on flat roads you can walk or cycle. Many are small and family-run, so the person pouring is often the person who made the wine. Pinot noir is the star, with plenty of sauvignon blanc, chardonnay, syrah and some rarer varieties to discover.
Good to know: most cellar doors take walk-ins, but several are by appointment and a few only open at weekends. Groups of six or more should ring ahead everywhere. Hours change with the seasons, so check before you go.
